I’m fortunate to do a lot of work that allows me to be creative, either following my own original concept or working within what the client wants. I usually show up well-prepared with a plan, but once in a while, we just decide to shoot last-minute and end up winging it. Joyce was the perfect collaborator for that kind of shoot.
She brought what seemed like half of her closet with her, and we managed to get through a few outfits as we chased the twilight. Joyce brought her commercial modeling experience to her approach during our stroll from the park through the Chinatown market. We even made the milk tea she bought into a prop! Discovering the shoot as we went was a great exercise and the perfect way to spend an evening.
